Stop Saying "Very Cold"

Winter is here! When the temperature drops below zero, saying "It is cold" is not enough. You need a stronger word to describe that icy feeling.

Today's word is the perfect replacement for "very cold."

The Word: Freezing 🥶

1. See it in Context

Imagine you step outside in a T-shirt. It is snowing. Your teeth start chatting immediately. You aren't just cold. You are turning into ice!

Example: "I forgot my gloves, and now my hands are freezing."

2. Learn the Definition

Freezing (Adjective) Meaning:

Extremely cold; below the temperature at which water turns to ice.

3. Make it Your Own

You can use "freezing" to describe the weather, an object (like water), or how you feel.

Examples:

  • "Don't swim in that river. It's freezing!" 🏊‍♂️

  • "Can we turn on the heater? I'm freezing." 🌡️
