Terms & Conditions

Welcome to On Your Mark’s English. By accessing our website or booking lessons with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
 

1. Eligibility

  • Our services are available to students aged 15 and above.

  • By booking lessons, you confirm you are legally able to enter into this agreement or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.


2. Services

  • We provide 1-to-1 English tutoring services online.

  • Lesson content is tailored to each student’s goals, level, and needs.

  • We may update, modify, or improve our offerings at any time.


3. Bookings

  • Lessons must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Same-day bookings are not permitted.


4. Rescheduling

  • Students may reschedule lessons with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Only 1 out of every 10 lessons can be rescheduled free of charge.

  • Any additional rescheduling is charged as a full lesson.


5. Cancellations

  • Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice.

  • Students are allowed one free cancellation per month.

  • Additional cancellations are charged as a full lesson.


6. Refunds

  • Refunds are offered only in rare circumstances, at our discretion, on a case-by-case basis.

  • No refunds are available for late cancellations or no-shows.


7. No-shows and Lateness

  • If a student misses a lesson without notice, the full lesson fee is charged.

  • Teachers will wait up to 15 minutes before marking the lesson as a no-show.


8. Teacher Cancellations

  • In the unlikely event the teacher must cancel, the lesson will be either rescheduled or refunded, whichever is more convenient for the student.


9. Packages & Discounts

  • Packages (e.g., Buy 5 get 1 free) must be used within 3 months of purchase.

  • Unused lessons in a package are non-refundable.


10. Payments

  • Payments are made securely via approved payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).

  • Lessons are not confirmed until full payment has been received.


11. Intellectual Property

  • All lesson materials, resources, and content provided by On Your Mark’s English remain our intellectual property.

  • Students may use these materials for personal learning but may not reproduce, share, or resell them.


12. Limitation of Liability

  • While every effort is made to deliver high-quality lessons, On Your Mark’s English is not liable for exam results, academic outcomes, or other performance-related expectations.

  • We are not responsible for technical failures (e.g., internet issues, software errors) outside our control.


13. Privacy

  • Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


14. Changes to Terms

  • On Your Mark’s English reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance.
