Hello everyone, and welcome to On Your Mark’s English! 👋

Today is Monday Vocabulary Boost, and we’re learning a new word using our simple 3-step method.

Our word of the day is: furious.

👀 Step 1: See It in Context

Look at this sentence:

“My boss was furious because I arrived one hour late to work.” 😡

What do you think it means?

Seeing a word in a real situation helps your brain understand it more naturally.

📘 Step 2: Learn the Definition

Furious (adjective) means extremely angry.

Instead of saying “very, very angry”, you can use one strong word: furious.

✍️ Step 3: Make It Your Own

Now make your own example! Here’s one: “I was furious when I lost my new phone.”

Creating your own sentences makes the new vocabulary stick in your memory.

🧠 Quick Review

Three easy steps:

1️⃣ Context – See it in a sentence

2️⃣ Definition – Learn what it means

3️⃣ Practice – Make your own sentence

✍️ Your Turn!

Let’s practise together!
