Saturday Story: When "Delivered" doesn't mean "At your door"
🎥 Watch the video version of this lesson above!
Living in a big apartment complex in a city like Dongguan means one thing: lots of delivery lockers and multiple buildings.
It is very easy for a driver to make a mistake.
Today’s story uses this common frustration to practice four essential English patterns.
The "Where is it?" Logic 💡
Already: I used this to show that I’ve finished the first part of my search. I checked my own building.
Yet: This expresses the ongoing problem. The search isn't over!
Thinking of: This shows my brain making a new plan. I'm not 100% sure the package is in Building B, but I'm considering going there.
Mind if I...: Even though I’m talking to the camera, I use this to "invite" the audience into the next part of the story.
How to Practice: Try to tell a "Mini Mystery" about your own week.
What have you already done?
What haven't you finished yet?
What are you thinking of doing tonight?
Your Turn
Have you ever lost a package? What happened? Use Already or Yet in your answer :)
