Welcome back!

If you are navigating the world of work or just trying to organize a weekend with friends, you need this expression.

"Keep me posted" is one of those phrases that instantly moves your English from "Intermediate" to "Natural."

The Art of the Update 💡

When we say "Keep me posted," we are essentially saying "I am interested in this situation, so please tell me what happens next."

When to use it:

  1. Job Hunting (Like me!)

    • After you submit your CV or finish an interview, you can say: "I look forward to hearing from you. Please keep me posted on the next steps."

  2. Social Plans

    • If a friend is unsure about their schedule: "No worries, just keep me posted if you can make it to the gym later."

  3. Health and Fitness

    • "I'm trying to reach 18% body fat. I'll keep you posted on my progress every Sunday!"

Why "Posted?"

In the old days, "posting" a notice meant putting information on a wall for everyone to see. Today, it just means keeping the information flowing to you.

Your Turn Let's practice! Is there something exciting happening in your life this week?

Tell me a little bit about it, and then say: "I'll keep you posted!"

I'd love to hear your stories in the comments. :)
